Another interesting thing about this place is the huge number of bikes, ranging from electric, gas, and the original pedaling bike. I think every family owns a bike. Maybe even ones that are fortunate enough to own a car too.
Yesterday as I was walking and exploring around my apartment complex, I almost got hit more than once. See, I am used to walking on the side of the street! I am not used to having to actually stay on the sidewalk!
If the traffic is heavy the bikes just drive on the sidewalk! I cannot stay out of their way!
